Understanding complex immune interactions requires strong experimental design and advanced cytometry. Bob Balderas will outline principles for building high-performance spectral panels and show how fluorochrome brightness, spillover, and pairing strategies enhance resolution of circulating human lymphocytes. Marie Siwicki will share insights into myeloid cell biology in the metastatic niche using intravital microscopy, plus spectral and imaging flow cytometry to reveal neutrophil–CX3CR1⁺ macrophage interactions. Together, these talks show how modern spectral and imaging cytometry deepen immune understanding.
