This symposium highlights recent advances in development, biology, and therapeutic application of NK cells and innate lymphoid cells (ILCs). Emphasis is placed on understanding how NK cells and ILCs function in both healthy and disease states, including how pathological environments alter their behaviour and differentiation programs. Emerging areas will also explore how NK cells development and function can be leveraged to improve and expand their use in immunotherapy.
