Interference from Human Anti-Mouse Antibodies, Rheumatoid Factor and other heterophilic antibodies remains a challenge in immunoassay development, particularly as assays move toward higher sensitivity and broader clinical use. This workshop will present the development and evaluation of recombinant, animal-free immunoassay blocking strategies as alternatives to traditional animal-derived blockers. The session will highlight approaches for mitigating interference across immunoassay formats and sample matrices and discuss considerations for improving assay robustness using animal-free solutions.
